- Responsible for the appraisals of 30 teachers. Collaborate with teachers to set SMART goals aligned to the strategic plan of the school.
- Using the software programme, "Timetabling Solutions - Version 9", responsible for building and maintaining the timetables of the Primary Division: 70 classes (nursery to grade 6).
- Oversee the pastoral care of students in the upper primary, grades 4-6 (620+ students).
- Oversee the Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for students in upper primary. Meet with the Learner Support team (learning support teachers, ELL teachers, counsellors, psychologist, school nurses) to define support plans for students.
- Oversee the OPEX and CAPEX budgets of the upper primary.
- Assist grade-level leads in supporting teams.
- Part of the implementation team for the "One-to-world" iPad Programme. All students in grades 4-6 have an iPad for daily learning.
- Member of the Canadian International School Academic Board.
- Part of the development and school-wide implementation of the Chinese Bilingual programme.
- Part of the development and implementation of the grade 6 Instrumental programme.
- Part of the re-branding process of the school.
- Develop and oversee the week-long Excursions (local and International) for grades 4-6.
- Worked along side the Admissions and Marketing departments to promote CIS and build the school community. Hosted tours for perspective parents.
- Key member of the curriculum review panel. Benchmarked International curriculums for Maths and Literacy and developed new curriculum and standards for CIS in Maths and Literacy. Oversaw the implementation of the new curriculum standards.
- Developed long-range plans for teaching and learning.
- Developed the Programme of Inquiry (POI) in collaboration with teaching teams (30+ teachers).
- Planned the integration of specialisations such as STEAM, Open Minds, Digital Literacy, the Arts and Physical Education.
- Oversaw the development of formative, summative and reflective assessments.
- Organised and documented the Curriculum Review Process (CRP) at the end of each teaching unit.
